Description

Okinawa is a non-insulated version of its look-alike cousin, Niseko 3.0. It’s a rain boot, however, not a typical rain boot. With a shell made from waterproof EVA, not rubber or PVC, Okinawa is a much lighter boot than many of its competitors. The transparent outer sole makes it perfectly suitable for use on boat decks or other surfaces that you don’t want to leave marks on. It comes with a felt insole that can be easily replaced.

Q&A

Why is the brand called FUBUKI?

  • FUBUKI, 吹雪, means snowstorm (or blizzard) in Japanese and since the story behind the brand began in Niseko, we thought it was a fitting name, especially given our products. Read more about our story here.

What size should I go for?

  • For information about our sizing, please read our size guide or contact our customer support team. You find our size guide here.

Where can I try the boots?

How can I dry out the boots?

  • The best way to dry them is simply to leave them somewhere in room-temperature. Whatever you do, don't use a direct heat source. Direct heat sources and your FUBUKIs are not best friends. Never place them in front of an electric heater/radiator, an open fire, in an electric drying cabinet or in a window that gets plenty of sun on a hot day. If your boots, for some reason, happen to be soaking-wet, you could consider using a boot dryer.

How do I clean the boots?

  • We give our best tips and tricks here!

Is the toecap made out of steel?

  • Nope, it’s a composite toecap.

How are they on slippery surfaces?

  • You’ll be surprised by the how good of a grip you get - even on slippery surfaces. The secret sits in the pattern of the lightweight rubber sole.

Customer video review of OKINAWA

Love them so much! I feel invincible and like it would take a lot to make me slip which is a huge improvement from any other winter shoe/boot. They are stylish and incredibly light. I’ve hiked with them through ice and snow in the woods and they’re very comfortable and capable. The only thing is my socks get stuck in them every time I take them off so they’re not really hands-free slide on and off but that’s ok because that tightness around the ankle is probably what makes them so comfortable and supportive for hiking and active movement.

OKINAWA

Well made and beautiful practical boots-fashionable in wet weather and great for gardening too!

Customer photo review of OKINAWA

I live in Park City, Utah and wear these boots every day when hiking my dog and cat. I work in construction and these are a game changer to my other boots. I am warm, safe on the sites and have more style than all of the other crew members. I love the bold colors and get so many complements. I also feel safe hiking in them because I don't slip on snow and ice.

OKINAWA

Stylish comfortable and the beige color goes With everything!

OKINAWA

OKINAWA

Absolutely obsessed!!

OKINAWA

such cute spring boots!

OKINAWA

Love love love the Okinawa- so happy Fubuki made a rain boot! Fits great and as lightweight and comfortable as you'd come to expect from the brand but perfect for spring and summer days. More grip and waterproofness than my mucks, Hunters, or XtraTufs- seriously the best!!

OKINAWA

I work on a farm. These are super light weight but sturdy boots for dirty tough work! Keep my feet dry even when walking and working in the muck!

OKINAWA

Great fit super stylish. I’ve been working on my farm in them throughout mud season. I do wish they had a hard shell toe box like that winter boot but I get that they wanted them super light weight. In terms of weight tho yeah these are the lightest muck boots I’ve ever worn.

OKINAWA

Haven't really gotten into the nitty gritty. But super lightweight and a great fit. I wear boots all day as a farmer and looking forward to sinking my pups in these badboys

OKINAWA

We sent them back the ankles are indented and hard.the actual design is not forgiving. But I am interest in the winter lined option when it’s available
